Savinelli Roma Lucite (316 KS)
The Savinelli "316" in the "KS" rendition makes a fine bent Pot of considerable breadth and capacity, minus the excessive heft one might expect. Savinelli presents their pipes handsomely in the Roma Lucite line, featuring a dark, low-profile rustication, smooth-polished rims, simple, slender brass accents, and silky caramel-amber hued translucent stems.
Thoughts from the Cottage:
I knew nothing about a Savinelli Roma Lucite until I watched a YouTube video from "Matches 860." I, like so many others, marveled at the way Matches handled his beloved 673 KS. After using several of these pipes for some time now, I would argue that this series is one of the best bangs for your buck. The briar on these pipes are high quality. The finish is very attractive, at both the bowl and the stem. I own no other factory pipe that smokes better than the Savinelli Roma Lucite series. If classic shapes and timeless appeal are your thing, this pipe is in your wheelhouse. Acrylic stem. 6mm filter.
