Rossi Rubino Antico (8701)

Rossi's Rubino Antico series offers a handsomely smooth finish and traditional, warm palette. Neatly accented by a trim band of bright nickel, it's seen here in Rossi's "8701" - a thoroughly traditional and timelessly classic Lovat.

Thoughts from the Cottage:

Like many others, my first real pipe was a Rossi. I picked it up at a local B&M store, along with a few ounces of their best selling house blend, Southern Breeze (excellent blend title, by the way.) That particular pipe was a Rossi 8626 bent apple. I still enjoy that pipe today, and I can always go back to those first few smoking sessions when I use it. In fact, because of that first Rossi, I find myself buying bent apples quite often. If you're a fan of Savinelli, give Rossi a try (they are virtually the same pipe.) They are wonderful pipes at an unbeatable price point. Acrylic stem. 6mm filter.
